Default 55 Monk Deadsword Farming Video

Sure there are a few guides out for this, but I figure, hey, this is my 1928309217329073129th (exagerated number) time I've done this so why not film it.

First off I want to say I'm sorry for the music cutting out half way. I tried to fix it twice but it kept happening so I said screw it (besides the music comes back after awhile). Anyway, here's the link. Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgUPVX4n2-E

Just a few tips for you:

-After going out there and getting the quest from the npc, you can just leave it there (dont have to grab it again and again).

-After you kill all of the ghost slaves you can rezone at the portal you came through so you can repeat the quest faster.

-I bring 2 heroes to aid me with the running through the mobs in the beginning. If you notice, I send then to aggro and move the group of margonites to the side so that I'm safe.

-Keep the flag where you sent your heroes so incase you die they just instantly run off and die again without getting in your way.

-If you do die, it's helpful to have a -20 offhand (if you die ater that use a candycane or take off a piece of armor).
----------
P.S. I took a break from farming recently and I have still been recieving PM's about farming locations, builds, etc. SO, to all of you PM'ing me about a new monk farming guide recently...it's coming be patient. Tsu's back
--mini-update--> guide is about 1/5 complete and should be about 1/4 complete by the time i sleep tonight

1. You dont need heros to ge to the farm place.
2. Try this one build:

- 105hp with Kepkhet's Refuge -

||Protective Spirit||Shield of Absorption||Shield of Judgment||Blessed Signet||Essence Bond||Balthazar's Spirit||Blessed Aura||

Insp: 6
Smit: 12
Prot: 14
Div: 13

hmm that is true. I am able to make it through just by myself (using my regular monking armor @ full health) but it was a lot easier with the heros. Nice find.

The run there does not require you to aggro unless you are in the worm with 3000 health. You shouldn't even need to change your armor.

Why we need a thread, just for this badly done video?

uhm, to comment a bit on the build
what I use is almost exactly the same, except that I take zealots fire instead of SoJ, its easy if you dont spam your spells, and sometimes slave spirits die withing 1 round of SoJ, and if not, the second is sure to get them.

btw, also a tip, if you begin killing the firts gorup with 30% DP, and then take of your cesta + 1 piece of armor, you should have 36 hp, easier for that group. but the real beauty is that the second and third gorup can be fought with 20% DP, menaing only 9 hp if you put the armor back on. Goes alot easier. As you can really simple kill buth groups at a time. I'll try and make a video sometime.

edit, I'll also try to point out a good dead spot in which the melee slaves not run, another advantage of Zealots, ebcause then they stay in range and cannot regenerate.

I remember I saw there a monk video doing the run with fast forwarding, but that's not the point here. I just don't understand why create another thread for the same topic that was discussed to death, in a thread page away (Was on the same page, when this one created).

Just thinking out loud here. But won't it be more appropriate, just to dump the video link in the first thread?

Sure can, I've gotten 4. You're over farming it, I'd stick to doing 3-5 runs in a row at max, then go do missions.

What's the deal with the bashing here?

Do you realize Tsunami Rain is one of the first guru's to post 55 builds in this farming sub-forum? I'm not going to say he is the originator of the build, but he has contributed an insane amount of time to this sub-forum.

You should respect that before you bash him.

Why are you being so tremendously rude??? How about something like, "Thanks for sharing your build, there is another thread and perhaps you can add this information there?".

Tsunami Rain goes way back with sharing amazing builds with the GW community, and he surely deserves a lot more respect, if you understand the meaning of respect.
